Prof. Dr. Alexander Bassen

Alexander Bassen has been a professor for business economics, in particular capital markets and management, at the University of Hamburg since 2003. His research focuses on the assessment of non-financial information, sustainability and capital market-oriented corporate management and governance. In 2013 he was appointed Principal Investigator (PI) at the Cluster of Excellence ‘Integrated Climate System Analysis and Prediction (CliSAP)’ which was set up as part of a German federal and state-level Excellence Initiative and Vice-Chairman of the UN PRI Academic Network Steering Committee. Alexander Bassen became a member of the German Council for Sustainable Development in 2013.
