Open SDGclub.Berlin
The German Council for Sustainable Development started the Open SDGclub.Berlin in 2016 as a transnational peer learning platform of sustainability practitioners at which participants can share their experience with implementing the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development at their respective areas of responsibility.
International Peer Review 2018
The German Federal Government has mandated the Council for Sustainable Development (RNE) to facilitate the third international Peer Review on the German Sustainable Development Strategy in 2018.
Hub for Sustainable Finance (H4SF)
The German Council for Sustainable Development (RNE) first included the issue of sustainable finance in its work programme in autumn 2016. Its activities since then have been bearing fruit: the Federal Government set up a sustainable finance advisory council in June 2019. The RNE is monitoring its work as an observer.
The Sustainable Shopping Basket
The Sustainable Shopping Basket of the German Council for Sustainable Development (RNE) offers tips for everyone wanting to live their lives more sustainably.
Since September 2019, the RENN.south has been responsible for publishing the Shopping Basket’s content.
German Almanac of Sustainability
The German Almanac of Sustainability shows via concrete projects and initiatives at municipal level, in the policy area and in the business sector where exactly the transformation towards a more ecologically and socially compatible society is in full swing.
Sustainability education competition “Ready, set, future!”
The sustainability education competition “Ready, set, future!” (Zukunft, fertig, los!) gave educators throughout Germany the opportunity to present their ideas on how to raise awareness for the 17 global Sustainable Development Goals and in doing so win potential project sponsors.
